Usually when it rains I prefer to stay inside on the couch, watching movies all day and debating whether to change out of my pajamas (which isn’t likely). This particular Saturday morning we had a wedding to attend which was a black tie reception (see that post here), but I wanted something a bit more practical and casual for the church ceremony earlier in the day. This black embroidered knit dress by Cynthia Steffe, available at Lord & Taylor, allowed me to be comfortable and functional all at once. The material hugs you in all the right places, while allowing room for movement. All I needed to add was a trench coat to dodge the rain.
