This post is one that I hold near and dear to my heart and have been waiting to share with you all. Today, October 24th, 2014, marks the official one year countdown until I get to marry Matt. If you have been following along with Styled Snapshots for awhile now, or if you are a more recent follower, you can see our proposal story here. I thought it was only appropriate to share our engagement photos (and apologies for the picture overload) with you all on the day that marks one year from the wedding. We wanted to re-capture some of the special day when Matt proposed, so we shot a lot of the pictures right in Grand Central. This is Matt’s official debut on the blog (thankfully I could bribe him with his favorite buffalo chicken dip). After Grand Central, we headed up to Central Park and brought our furry family member, Hadley along to join in. Rachel Pearlman did an impeccable job capturing every detail and especially our personalities and love for one another. We are thrilled to have her with us on our wedding day next October. I hope you all enjoy taking a peek and let the official one year countdown BEGIN!! Side note: I was so fortunate to have my make-up done for this shoot by the ever so talented Rob Harmon (fun fact – he is the makeup artist for the cast of Wicked!). As we spent the morning together gossiping over coffee, wedding details and of course make-up, he told me about a beauty product that he developed called The Magic Pads. These cleansing pads are unscented and made from all natural ingredients and are used to treat/prevent blemishes, aging and problem skin. I took home a sample and have become obsessed. My skin feels fresh and clean and I don’t have to worry about any harsh chemicals on my face while trying to keep my skin looking it’s best!
