A great pair of jeans, booties, and lots of layers are the first thing that come to mind when I think about fall fashion. Nothing excites me more then bundling up with a cozy knit, eating and drinking anything pumpkin flavored, and admiring the foliage (ok, maybe I am getting ahead of myself since today was 88 degrees, but it is September after all!) For me, the fall is a time where everything around us slows down, and the city fills back up with everyone who escaped the city heat for the beach this summer.
Turning to more important things (i.e. fashion), last weekend while walking around SoHo my fiancé and I stumbled across Bonobo’s showroom (where you can try on clothes, but your items are shipped to you and not available to take home that day), where he ended up spending a great deal of time and a greater deal of money. The clothing is incredibly well made, fit him like a glove and you can tell it will definitely withstand time. While chatting with the sales associate, she informed me that they recently launched a women’s line, AYR, which stands for “all year round.” Every piece is more polished than the last. I decided to try out a pair of their jeans and fell in love. The fabric moves when you move, is flattering in all the right places and super comfortable for all day wear. I hate when jeans stretch out throughout the day, and I did not experience that at all with this pair. I look forward to continuing to add other AYR pieces to my wardrobe and thrilled to discover a new brand of denim that I love.
