SOHO
April 15, 2014
There are many things about living in NYC that I love, and the shopping options is definitely at the top of my list. Walking around SoHo never gets old – I find new streets and places to pop in each time I head down that way. From the restaurants to the insane, yet dangerous for my wallet, stores, I truly love walking around and getting lost in this neighborhood. Broadway is the main street in SoHo, and this is where you will find many of the larger stores, including Bloomingdales, Zara, Old Navy, and H&M, but unfortunately these plethora of shopping options also comes with huge crowds, especially on a weekend day (as you can see in the third picture below). However, beautiful and quaint cobblestone streets surround Broadway. These side streets also include great shopping options, such as JCrew, Michael Kors, and Warby Parker. When I picture New York, these are the beautiful streets that I imagine. Although most of the city shops are dog-friendly, SoHo definitely takes the “dog-friendly” policy to a new level. I love bringing Hadley down here and she takes full advantage – she usually gets no less than five dog treats from the C Wonder staff! If you have the chance to take in some SoHo shopping, I highly recommend checking out the beautifully renovated Club Monaco store and the recently opened Piperlime. For my shopping attire, I stuck to this bright blouse, jeans and glitter flats.
