Once again, our weekend came to an end and it's back to the working grind. I want to start the week off with a casual chic outfit that works perfectly for walking around town (can easily pair with a cute pair of black booties) or a fancier occasion (hence the heels). I wore these pants countless times this past fall, and am so excited that there is a break in the weather where I could throw them on once again. They pair well with a casual tee, or in this case a colorful blouse and varsity jacket. I spent the day walking around the east village and grabbing a late brunch at a BBQ place you can not afford to miss if you are in the city. You can check out our feast in a mouth watering picture I took on instgram (@styledsnapshots). Hope you all have a happy Monday!

Florals and pearls, is there anything better? Mixing two classic things can create a timeless and elegant look. I initially choose the blazer to add a more fitted feel to the dress, but quickly realized I loved the box cut look all on its own. I tossed on a chunky pearl necklace to add a bit of dimension and instead of nude heels, I changed things up a bit with a favorite classic pair of Ralph Lauren boots. I hope you all are gearing up for the weekend and enjoy your ! Mine will unfortunately be spent in a dental chair...selfie request anyone?!

As a New Yorker, especially in the winter, black and white is a reoccurring trend. The top I am wearing has (yet again) another bold gold zipper in the back and the skirt has great pockets, check and check! Express has the most adorable combinations of these two piece outfits. They offer a tank to go with the skirt, which I loved, but I stuck with the sleeves to add an inch more of warmth (like it really matters at this point!). Best yet, when I went to link this outfit for you to shop below, both the top and skirt are now 50% off. Can't beat it, especially since this transitions nicely into spring. I am already thinking of a spring bag and colorful heels to take me into the next season -- I've linked some fun options below. Hope everyone has a great day!

I guess you could say this post is an ode to my love for J.Crew. Truth be told, it wasn't until I was fully dressed and walking out the door, that I realized I was in head to toe J. Crew. The colors and symmetries flowed nicely together and created a more whimsical look. I layered both tops to create dimension (as well as provide a little extra warmth!). Classic jewels go perfectly with this outfit and I felt the necklace and bracelet paired nicely together, and added just the right amount of sparkle. I hope you all enjoyed watching the Oscars, and would love to hear your favorite look! Personally, I loved the dress Lupita Nyong'o wore :) ...such a stunner!

Do you all have a specific color crush at the moment? As I've mentioned in these pages before, the Pantone color of the year is radiant orchard and I can't get enough of it! It is bright, screams warmer weather and adds that extra punch to your look; so get ready to see a lot of it in the near future! I was lucky enough to score this dress on major sale from Topshop, but have listed similar color dresses below. I really like the design of this dress, with a hint of coral and the tiered layer, and bold zipper. Therefore, I kept my jewelry pretty simple. I love how perfect this layered bracelet goes with the dress and my earrings are simple, yet have a small magenta dot in the middle to pull the look together. Happy weekend everyone! Make it a good one!

This dress is the perfect combination of a drop waist and ruffles. I love a piece of clothing that is versatile, and although I decided to pair this dress with a jacket, I think it would look great with a chunky knit to create a ruffled skirt look. I am also excited to wear it with a a strappy pair of heels, tassel necklace and sock bun for a night out with the girls. The material is made out of 100% viscose, which is so soft and wears amazing with time. It won't pill or look worn after a few wears. Hope everyone is having a great week! Cheers to almost being the weekend!
