As of lately, my color crush has been olive green. I just can't seem to get away from it and find myself going through my wardrobe and pulling this color to the front of my closet (such as this post here). Olive green is such a rich color and pairs well with neutrals and other hints of color. I have listed a few of my favorite items that have made it over to my wish list (a coupe on sale too) below. Do you all have a color crush this season? I am sure within a month I will be obsessing over the next best color :)

This past weekend, with the fall foliage already in full force by my parents home in PA, I was very excited to bring out this plaid cape. The material is super cozy, you can toss it on over so many things, and it adds the perfect layer for the cooling weather. These riding boots are a staple in my closet every fall (I wear them so often I already had to replace the heels at the end of last season). They are by Steve Madden and were an amazing find from DSW, but I have searched high and low to find similar ones, and linked them below. These boots are definitely one of those items where you wish you could go back in time and buy another pair to have as a backup - I know some of you ladies must have some items like that in your closet too!

It's no surprise that I have an obsession with jumpers/jumpsuits. While a lot of the jumpsuits I have styled on these pages have been tailored for the warmer months, there are numerous ways to carry a jumpsuit into fall/winter. This black tube-topped jumper by Tart Collections is so comfortable, cinches at the waist and ankle and can easily be dressed up or down. To take this jumpsuit into fall, I tossed on this vegan fur vest (I would also recommend a trench coat or open sweater). Although I wore it with heels here, earlier in the day I tossed on a pair of studded smoking slippers (save/splurge) for a more casual look while at a family party. I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! I had such a nice time at my parent's house in PA this weekend, especially since I was able to attend my adorable niece's second birthday party!

It's finally Friday and I am excited to head home to PA for my niece's birthday, a haunted asylum (tis the season) and wedding dress shopping! Before all that happens. I wanted to end the week by sharing a few of my favorite fall items that have been hitting the stores. Wether it is a plaid shirt, a scarf or a killer boot, I find myself wanting it all. My bucket list is never ending for this fall and I look forward to crossing things off my list :)

This shiftpleat dress in colorblock from Madewell has been a great addition to my fall wardrobe. I have been loving the color olive this season, and when you add pleats and a midi length style, you have a perfect dress for fall (in my eyes). To compliment the style of this dress, I paired it with this tribal printed, crescent moon necklace from Kemi Designs. Kemi, the talented designer behind this collection, and I went to undergrad together, and she also resides and runs her business from NYC. Each piece in her collection is hand-crafted and she pulls her inspirations from travel, nature and other cultures with the goal of inspiring women to wear the collection and accent who they are. Her collection has a bit of a "boho-hipster" feel that can be styled in endless ways. In addition, her Love is Blind Bracelet (one of my favorites) is connected to the Foundation Fighting Blindness, where a portion of the proceeds are donated. Definitely check out the collection! I'm pretty excited that today marks one more early work morning until the weekend - anyone else feeling the same?!
