I have to admit, when the weather gets colder, if I am not running around town in lots of layers, you will most likely find me bundled up in an oversized sweater. I am always on the hunt for that perfectly cozy, yet not frumpy, option that easily pairs with a variety of items. This exceedingly soft sweater from Tart Collections fit the bill. This past weekend was spent home at my parents (which means lots and lots of pumpkin spice coffee from WAWA -- thanks Mama and Pops for buying their K-Cups for at home easy access!) and enjoying the gorgeous weather. Living in the city you only get a glimpse of the change in seasons, so its definitely a treat to get out of the city and see the foliage, pumpkin patches, and everything else suburbia has to offer this time of year. Obviously this led me to dig out (or lug from home) every cute pumpkin and fall related item, and transforming our apartment. Can you tell that I may have a slight addiction to all things pumpkin? At this point, it should start to make sense why I never wanted anything other then a fall wedding! (This month next year...not that I am counting or anything). Happy almost weekend everyone!

As of lately, my color crush has been olive green. I just can't seem to escape the addiction, and keep going through my wardrobe and pulling this color to the front of my closet (such as this post here). Olive green is such a rich color and pairs well with neutrals and other hues. Below I have listed a few of my favorite items that made it to my wish list (a coupe on sale too). Do you all have a color crush this season?

This past weekend, with the fall foliage already in full force by my parents home in PA, I was very excited to bring out this plaid cape. The material is super cozy, you can toss it on over so many things, and it adds the perfect layer for the cooling weather. These riding boots are a staple in my closet every fall (I wear them so often I already had to replace the heels at the end of last season). They are by Steve Madden and were an amazing find from DSW, but I have searched high and low to find similar ones, and linked them below. These boots are definitely one of those items where you wish you could go back in time and buy another pair to have as a backup - I know some of you ladies must have some items like that in your closet too!

It's no surprise that I have an obsession with jumpers/jumpsuits. While a lot of the jumpsuits I have styled on these pages have been tailored for the warmer months, there are numerous ways to carry a jumpsuit into fall/winter. This black tube-topped jumper by Tart Collections is so comfortable, cinches at the waist and ankle and can easily be dressed up or down. To take this jumpsuit into fall, I tossed on this vegan fur vest (I would also recommend a trench coat or open sweater). Although I wore it with heels here, earlier in the day I tossed on a pair of studded smoking slippers (save/splurge) for a more casual look while at a family party. I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! I had such a nice time at my parent's house in PA this weekend, especially since I was able to attend my adorable niece's second birthday party!

It's finally Friday and I am excited to head home to PA for my niece's birthday, a haunted asylum (tis the season) and wedding dress shopping! Before all that happens. I wanted to end the week by sharing a few of my favorite fall items that have been hitting the stores. Wether it is a plaid shirt, a scarf or a killer boot, I find myself wanting it all. My bucket list is never ending for this fall and I look forward to crossing things off my list :)
